Shimano Di2 is available at different price points for both road and mountain bikes. This page lists all individual pieces of hardware and their specifications, ranging from Ultegra/DURA-ACE to mtb XT and XTR Di2 groupsets, grouped by type of bicycle and series.

Road bike

DURA-ACE R9150/R9170 (11-speed)

Released in 2016, the Shimano R9150 (rim brake) and R9170 are described by Shimano as system engineering at its peak. Each of the components magnifies the qualities of the others for an unparalleled level of performance. Optimizing input to maximize output. That’s how it achieves supremacy.

DURA-ACE 9070 (11-speed)

The previous generation DURA-ACE components is still a very good choice for a modern bike – especially when paired with a set of new shifters and the bar-end junction box.

Ultegra R8050/R8070 (11-speed)

Released just one year after its DURA-ACE sibling, the Ultegra R8050 (rim brake) and R8070 (disc brake) are “pro-proven” as they are a direct trickle down from the DURA-ACE groupset. As road bike component, the stress-free operation is one of the most important feature to lead all day riding comfort with braking and shifting.

Ultegra 6870 (11-speed)

The 6870 Di2 groupset was released in 2014 and is “pro-proven” as it is a direct trickle down from Shimano’s DURA-ACE group. It stands for state-of-the-art technology, proven in pro races, the technology used in ULTEGRA 6800 series with 11-speed, advanced designed brakes, latest chain treatment and more.

General Road Di2 hardware

All of the Di2 hardware is completely cross-series compatible, meaning that you can mix Ultegra with DURA-ACE and even mtb components if you really wanted to. The hardware below is used on both the Ultegra and DURA-ACE groupsets:

XTR M9050/9070 (11-speed)

The top of the range mountain bike Di2 groupset provides smooth shifting whenever you want. There’s a front derailleur for those of you running 2x (or even 3x) setups, but of course you could run your bike without. The components that make up this groupset are:
